Maya NURBS Modeling: Introduction to Advanced Techniques. The book covers an introduction to working with the necessary NURBS tools that Autodesk Maya offers in-depth, touches on many subjects such as, texturing, patch modeling, animation, rigging in areas of the industry as film and games, and simulations. I wrote this book because of my love for NURBS. The software covers in this book include Autodesk-Maya, Abode Photoshop and After Effects. I was inspired to write this book based on my experiences and techniques obtain over the years. However, this is done from the perspective of NURBS tools and object development to a demo reel development. If you are working in a production pipeline or as a freelance 3d artist, NURBS is a convenient tool to have alongside. NURBS tools can be used in every aspect of a workflow and is an essential tool to have because it is fast in so many areas of production. The book covers the substance of NURBS 3d modeling, lighting NURBS models, rendering NURBS, and much more as I include these techniques within areas of a pipeline, more so on the necessary tools that are required for completing any project.
